Perfect place for a one night stay while traveling from Chicago to The Åland Islands. Lovely quiet hotel (near active pedestrian area but windows were well insulated so we heard little of the passerby’s outside), plenty of dining options and shopping nearby, beautiful walking path along the water and through town.

Small hotel with atmosphere of intimacy

Very well renovated old hotel where the terraces (if you manage to have one) are beautifully on the river side. Our room was easy-access for wheel chair. Good quality beds, not too soft and clean. No safety box unfortunately. Parking in front but very crowdy as this hotel is next to the old town, so location is just excellent! Tiny brekkie selection but scandinavian and plenty of room available. Did not try the restaurant but short menu looked good. All in all, very much recommendable small hotel with atmosphere of intimacy.

This a wonderful gem in the heart of Norrtalje. Ask for one of the few rooms with a balcony and enjoy the riverside ambience.

This was the best hotel stay in Sweden! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. The room was great... never had better shower pressure or instahot water! Beds were so comfortable. Breakfast had everything you would want. We hate to leave and will be back for sure!!

Lovely historic hotel

A really nice, cosy hotel in a great location, very central in Norrtälje, by the river. Historic building with a lovely, modern interior and nice spacious bar and restaurant. Breakfast was good. The room we had overlooked the river and was clean and comfortable. The one negative was that the room was rather stuffy. Helpful and friendly staff. We also ate dinner at the hotel with a large group of friends, which was very nice.

Indifferent staff and unmaintained rooms

The room was minimal. No shampoo, what was labeled as shampoo was hand soap at best. No conditioner. Pillows were lumpy. The bathroom shower was missing a door so water got all over the floor. The floors were covered in hard water stains. Not cozy, not for leisure travel and I would prefer to stay at another hotel for work as well. The staff presence was minimal. When we arrived someone was at reception. The interaction was pleasant. We also also called 4 weeks earlier to book the hotel restaurant for an anniversary via the reception requesting a table by the window -> it was not registered. The staff at the restaurant were rude and made no effort to apologize for the mistake. They could have said sorry, but instead we felt like we were inconveniencing them by asking for what we had booked. We ended up leaving and dining nearby at Wine and Dine and cannot recommended their service more

Good for partying, not for sleeping

Not a good choice to stay in the weekend if you have to catch the early ferry from Kappelskär. No time to eat breakfast as it opens at 8 in the summer. Music and party outside most of the night, so had to sleep with closed windows

Hade bokat ca 1 månad innan och kom dit lite tidigt på dagen,rummet var klart och vi fick tillträde direkt. Rummen är bra och det hörs inte så mycket utifrån vilket är ett stort +. Bra läge ,frukost mm. Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende🙂🙂
