The hot tub, the view from the back porch, the quiet was spectacular, especially the nature's light show in the trees by the creek at night. It was magical. Hope to get to stay again. "A nice, clean cabin in a great location! Mazzie was super helpful and great at replying quickly to messages. Even gave me a call to direct me to the place when my GPS led me astray. Nice stream runs right beside the cabin. Enjoyed seeing fish and crayfish in the stream. Due to recent rains the water was too deep for my little ones to get in, but it would be nice to play in otherwise. Very conveniently located just down the road from the Lyman Run State Park which has a nice little beach area for kids to play in sand and swim. Cabin is well stocked with essentials. Mazzie provides easy-to-follow guides to the cabin and local area which she sends to you electronically and then also has printed out and available in the cabin. I didn't realize from the photos that the bunk beds do not have guard rails, so we didn't use those beds; we had enough space for our small family with just the two queen beds. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Potter County. "

"3rd time stayed here and great as usual. Would stay again. I rarely ever have issues with the hotels/motels themselves. It’s the other guests which are usually the issue with their lack of awareness to the noise they create. Or, in this case, the dog(s) they travel with that constantly bark when they leave them alone in the room. Not the dog’s fault, was probably anxious. This was in room right next to me so no way to cover that sound with anything else. Will just request next time to maybe not place me in a room where there will be dogs right nearby if possible. The amusing part about it…this dog was barking like it was trying to say “I love you” 😄. Also, the AC/Heat unit is in the entry room only so may take some setting of the fan on high to get air back toward the bedroom on hotter days. I haven’t had any comfort issues with this myself though."

"We spent a long weekend venturing around the area and staying at this lovely property! I was surprised when pulling up that neighboring houses were not too far away but there was not much going on around us or noise to be heard. The property was large, the water close by (but not dangerously so,) and the space was gorgeous and relaxing. It was a perfect place for our family with young kiddos (ages 6-8) Exactly as described and as the pictures show! "
