Waterfront Cabin With Spectacular Sunsets Overlooking The Chesapeake Bay

Nestled on a bluff overlooking the Chesapeake Bay's famed Susquehanna Flats, our front yard provides a 180 degree view of the bay with gorgeous sunsets. The area boasts world class fishing, crabbing and water sports. Whether you're into sailing or motor boating or just like watching the boats go by - this is the place for you. Also a nature lovers paradise with daily bald eagle sightings and nesting Osprey right in the front yard.

Our cabin has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, all with queen size beds - all bedding is provided and included. We have an open cabin concept with water views from every room. Living room with working fireplace, Dining room, Kitchen with dishwasher, Full bath with shower, Water view sitting area, Central Air conditioning, Washer/dryer, Wifi, Flat Screen television and stereo system. Deck with hot tub and gas grill. Outside shower, stone patio with outside dining area for crab feasts, bluff side sitting area with fire pit and adirondack chairs to enjoy the spectacular views and sunsets. Seasonal Community Dock access with sandy bottom swimming area is within footsteps of property. A quarter mile sandy beach and boat ramp is a short walk down the street. Beach towels are provided.

Quaint shopping and great restaurants are a short seven mile drive into the town of North East. Elk Neck State park offers hiking and mountain biking trails, waterfront camping, lighthouse, boat ramp, public beach, spectacular cliffside water views and is only a short 6 mile drive. We are conveniently located right off of I-95 between Philadelphia and Baltimore - an hour drive north and south. Washington DC is also easily accessible 2 hours south of us. Historic Havre de Grace is just across the bay and can be easily accessed by boat or a 20 minute drive with lots of restaurants, lighthouse, walking tours, museums and shopping. We are located 20 miles from the University of Delaware.

Pets are welcome but there is a $150 additional pet fee in addition to $100 cleaning fee.

Great property and good location! Nice with basic paper supplies, cleaning supplies and seasonings. We used the grill and hot tub, and watched a sunset in those big chairs!

Cozy cabin

My friends and I wanted a relaxing getaway with beautiful views and that is exactly what we got. Sue was so wonderful and when there was a massive snowstorm expected to come on our arrival date, she offered to change the dates to accommodate us. Everything was wonderful and we had the best stay.

Couples getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Really enjoyed the eagles and osprey. The hot tub was amazing and the fire pit was nice to enjoy in the cold weather. All amenities were there that we needed, the location is great and the town is really cute. We will be back!

Relaxing Water View Retreat

You feel welcomed at the cabin immediately because of the water view and then the attention to detail inside the cabin. We enjoyed sitting at the water, watching sunsets over the water, walking to the beach, seeing eagles. Thank you Sue for all your great communication. We will want to come back.

Serene weekend in Northeast

My family and pup stayed here for a long weekend in Spring and got to thoroughly enjoy this home. The view of the bay is serene from the front lawn (which looks down on an osprey nest, complete with chick), the front sitting/dining room with it's perfect reading chairs, or the hot tub on the porch! Every morning was greeted with a symphony of songbirds, and we did get a couple really gorgeous sunsets on the bay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we even got fresh eggs, bread, and a cinnamon roll from the produce stand on the road in. Beds/linens were super comfortable - and my kids enjoyed the board games, particularly the worst-case scenario game. We really appreciated all of the info that Sue sent for us to enjoy the area. I would recommend this home to anyone who wanted to stay in the upper bay area.

So relaxing

We had a great two days here! House has everything you need. We really enjoyed the hot tub! We were lucky the weather was so warm and we could just sit outside all day looking at the water and end the day with gorgeous sunsets. We would definitely come back!

Winter Ladies Weekend

We all had a great time at the cottage. It was very cozy, well cared for and loaded with personality. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to navigate. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace that was all ready to be lit upon arrival. It was the perfect spot to have cocktails, watch football, play games and catch up! The view of the bay was lovely while having morning coffee, watching the birds and admiring the sunsets. I highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful spot on the water

We loved our stay here. I visited with my teenagers and we all enjoyed swimming at the dock and the beach. The house was great and had everything we needed, and the location, with stunning views of the bay and a short drive to the town of North East, was perfect. We all want to come back again!

Incredibly Relaxing

Very nicely decorated house with everything we needed for our stay The hot tub and view were my favorite things about this location Beds were very comfortable Neighborhood was super quiet even when neighbors had company...everyone was able to enjoy themselves but somehow managed to keep the noise level down Great location and convenient to restaurants and groceries etc We will be back for sure

Amazing Views

We had a great get-away for a few days with our friends. The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit while sitting in the comfortable Adirondack chairs overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The owners were friendly and great to work with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Houses!

We rented both of Sue's amazing houses for a family getaway. The properties are amazing! The views are wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, with amazing bird watching. We cooked a lot of our meals, and the kitchens are well stocked with all the amenities. The crab room makes for a perfect dinner spot. Most importantly, all the beds are really comfortable. My family is already planning for a return trip.

Nothing short of amazing!

As soon as we arrived I wanted to message Sue and thank her for sharing such a special place with us. The views are breathtaking! We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby and the house had everything we needed. The “neighborhood” it’s in is great and all of the neighbors were wonderful. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Stunning location and views, nice amenities, stylish, clean and well kept property. We had a lovely time, especially enjoyed the fire pit, views of the water, watching Osprey and Bald Eagles swoop by. It was private and serene. Plenty of convenient grocery options nearby. Cute town. Wonderful!

The house was exactly as described. Despite Ophelia making an unwelcome appearance the house was cozy and clean. We saw the most stunning sunset. Sue was great to work with.
