"Tingum has the Bahamian charm we were looking for. The Staff is overly accommodating, allowing you to relax fully. We really enjoyed the ease of the continental breakfast. Which consisted of fruit, choice of bagel, coffee & juice. Other options are available for purchase. We had the grilled lobster twice which was one of our favorite meals. Baby Ruby will take care of you like family. Great value for the rate. We will be back. "

"Very helpful staff, they were helping us (family with kids) transporting us, indicating the best way to go to the beach, clean towels, bottles of water, etc provided quickly. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, and friendly place in Harbour Island, this is the place."

"Tranquilville was fantastic. The pics can't do the view justice. No way to capture it in a pic. It is stunning in person. We had a great time and would absolutely go back and stay here again. Eleuthera has become one of our favorite vacation spots. There are so many fun adventures to take on Eleuthera. We really loved the sapphire blue hole. But just a heads up the ladder climbing out is tricky. The boat rides from the marina are quick and easy to bounce around from island to island. We went back and forth to Spanish Wells and Harbour Island a lot on the boat taxis. It is very easy and inexpensive to get around on the boat taxis and the people are all very nice. Roger and Kimberly, who are the property managers, are the best people and were so good to us. My daughter left a bag of jewelry on the bed in her room at Tranquilville when we left. Roger and Kimberly went through a lot of trouble to get it back to us. It had to be taken on a boat to another island and then shipped back to us in North Carolina. I tried over and over to get them to send me the costs so I could reimburse them for their shipping expenses and troubles, but they would not let me pay them back. This is just a sample of how great these people are. And everywhere we went the locals all know them and say the same about them. Enjoy tranquilville and Eleuthera. We highly recommend."

"The pool furniture was in disrepair and everything at the resort looked like it was very old/falling apart. The upstairs bedroom was carpeted and the carpet is very old and smelly and musty. The bedding was very old and the furniture was also very worn/old. The supplies in the kitchen looked like they were found at a garage sale. For the very high price tag I would not stay there again unless the whole place got a refresh. "
