"We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. We would both highly recommend a stay here."

"We had never stayed in Cape Coral before and decided to stay in a different area since we weren’t sure what was open on Sanibel/Captiva. Staying in this location made it easy to pick up someone from Fort Myers International Airport and visit neighboring islands. Close to both Walmart and Publix. Home was well kept. "We did not even stay at this property thanks to the host. We were about an hour away from the property when the host finally contacted us to let us know he double booked. He tried blaming VRBO stating that he tried contacting them. We ended up having to get a hotel room in which we then contacted VRBO and had no problem getting in touch with them and no problem getting a hold of them."

For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. Getting to points of interest was simple and LaBelle has good restaurants and shopping for anything you need or forgot. "I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. "This was our first "Snowbird" adventure. Our stay was 2 months. We were extremely grateful for the gracious welcome of our lovely hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating during our length of stay. This is a great location regarding the proximity to Ft Myers and Cape Coral venues especially the Ft Myers downtown events. The newly remodeled home has a quaint, cottage feel with every modern convenience. Comfortably clean. Wonderful stay. Awesome hosts. Would recommend."
