Mapleview - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 12

This is a cottage that is bound to become a firm favourite with its guests. Level lawns, a shallow walkout to the water; a bunkie for teen children, and a really comfortable cottage make for a great vacation package.
Little Marble Lake is delightfully located near to Bon Echo Provincial Park and equidistant from Toronto and Ottawa making it a good base for families getting together. The woodland setting provides a nice amount of shade on the lawned area and a firepit is provided. The lake has shallow water entry Two paddleboards, two canoes, and 2 kayaks are included for on-water fun.The lake is small and best suited for non-motorized watercraft but boat rentals are available from the marina on nearby Mazinaw Lake for exploring within Bon Echo Provincial Park, for which a park pass is provided ( a value of up to $125 for a weekly rental)
The bunkie to the rear of the cottage has bunk beds and a TV & video/DVD player, and since there's an outdoor washroom adjacent to the bunkie, it makes it a self contained space for older children and teens.
Inside the cottage, there's a wealth of pine and cedar and hardwood flooring throughout. This gives a warm ambience and a welcoming feel. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and features needed to make the cottage a home away from home and the breakfast bar provides the opportuntiy for kitchen onlookers to applaud the efforts of the nominated cook.
Take morning coffee or aperitifs ( or both) in the screened sunroom as you enjoy the views across the water, then enjoy a meal at the high dining table that seats 8, before relaxing in the comfortable lounge to read the papers or watch some TV. Wherever you are in this cottage, you will feel pampered and at ease as the new owners have provided high quality furniture and furnishings throughout. The three bedrooms are supremely comfortable and linens are provided so guests will arrive to find the beds made up and ready for a good night's sleep. The primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, while the main bathroom is a nice size and has a tub with shower over.
Overall, this cottage is one we know our guests will come back to again and again for summer vacations, fall weekends and winter breaks. For the active and not-so-active alike, the cottage and its location will delight and we are very proud to present it to our guests.

Hot Tub is available for guest use from October 1st until May 1st only
A Park Pass to Bon Echo Provincial Park is included with this rental
Cottage is on designated canoe route
This cottage accepts well behaved dogs, but please no cats
Please note that, according to the municipality’s bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
Linens and indoor towels are provided except for the bunkie
A post-departure cleaning service is included for all rentals; however, the departure checklist must be completed
Garbage and recycling removal is required
Watercraft are available seasonally when conditions allow (typically Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, depending on water levels, safety, and weather); refunds will not be provided if conditions prevent use.

Waterfront The shaded lawned area leads to the waterfront, which has shallow entry with gradual deepening. Waterfront is a northwestern exposure.



Trivia Nearby Mazinaw Lake has a perimeter of 49 Kms and averages 41 m (135 ft) in depth with a maximum depth of 145 m (476 ft), making it the second deepest lake in Southern Ontario besides the Great Lakes. (Source - Wikipedia)
