"The room was clean but poorly maintained. The paint was chipped in many places - no pride of ownership was reflected here. There were no laundry facilities, no irons or ironing boards in the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner. The carpet was worn, as well as the furniture. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The linens were much lower quality. It felt like the owners did as little as possible and put as little money into the hotel as they could. I have stayed in lower starred hotels that were much nicer. You could tell it used to be a nice hotel, but it has become run down now. They don't seem to care about repeat customers, so we will try a different hotel next time."
