The minimal personnel paired with the self service check in was eerie at first, seeming too good to be true, but after talking to the wonderful staff I came to understand the love put into this hotel and the self driven experience the owners were going for: and they succeed more than I can tell you here. Maximalist style paired with the efficiency of the relatively smaller rooms was nothing short of designer, from the seemingly jail broken iPad with games and universal control over blinds lights and the TV, to the time spent chopping it up with other guests and staff at the bar, to the charity dictated by refraining to request your suite be cleaned during your stay, CitizenM has a place in my heart that has truly earned its keep. 9.6/10 (high score)."
