This is a most unique and enjoyable b&b. The property is beautifully restored and maintained and extremely comfortable.
The owners, Ken and Candi, are very much involved in the running of this delightful b&b and were instrumental in making my wife and my stay a weekend event and not just a place to stay for the night.

The outside of the building could use a wipe down. There was a lot of dust and spiderwebs. The inside was clean, it would be nice for the outside to be clean also.

I booked this hotel based on location, proximity to the ocean, and what appeared to be a fun attitude. Restricting guests to those over 18 years old played a part, as well.
We were not disappointed in any way. The hotel is sited within a few blocks of downtown Long Beach, an easy walk from the hotel.
The building was one of the closest to the ocean. From our second floor corner room, we had expansive views of the coast from windows facing the ocean as well as from the side windows.

The Salt Hotel isn't fancy but it is clean and quiet. My wife and I enjoyed a couple nights here. She spent the day around the hotel which overlooks the port of Ilwaco. The owner and staff were polite and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. We hope to go back again soon.

What a great location! The rooms are clean and comfortable as well as updated. The use of the bikes was nice, as was the area where the fire pit was. We really felt like we got more than we expected while also feeling that we got a great value at this property. Would definitely stay there again and if youāre not looking for anything fancy, then this will more than fit the bill.

This property is perfect for a beachside trip. Saltwater pool was the perfect temp along with the barrel style saunas! Front desk staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. I recommend utilizing the bikes that are available for guests. Bathroom was a tad bit small, toilet a bit too close to the wall but other than that the room was perfect for our needs. Box fan came in clutch for the breeze!

Letās just say this place is far from perfect. The potential for the property to be in really good shape is there, but Iām sure thereās only one maintenance person available to do all the work for that entire property. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing Iāve ever slept on in my life and it was broken. Half of the lights werenāt working and the clock on the wall hadnāt had their batteries changed in a while. The floor in the bedroom was terribly stained and the bathroom walls were...

The amenities were great. We had a suite with coffee , microwave, refrigerator and a seating area. The bed and bedding was super comfortable.

This hotel is in an area away from restaurants/ shops that are within easy walking distance. The immediate area was safe but empty, ie the surrounding buildings were businesses that were not open in the evening/ weekends.
That being said the hotel has friendly staff, even if they were using walkie talkies in the hallways before 0800 (the reason for 4 out of 5 stars). The amenities were well cared for and clean. The addition of clam chowder available in the evenings was nice. It was pretty tasty....
