"Great stay overall. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean enough to feel comfortable and generally quiet. Security around the premises was solid, which we appreciated. However, one issue stood out on our last night. A security guard approached us in the parking lot and informed us that there was no smoking allowed on the premises. We apologized and promptly put out our cigarettes. Despite that, the guard continued to follow us for the next 45 minutes as we walked outside, which felt excessive. I remained polite throughout, but the guard’s behavior came across as immature and unnecessarily unkind. Kindness is free—maybe he was having a rough night—but that doesn’t excuse being persistently rude. THANK YOU for being here for us."
