Bilderberg Chateau Holtmuhle

"The EV charging bays are plentiful (12 I think) but awkward to park at, especially as this hotel seems to attract inconsiderate douchebags in their massive £80,000 douchebagmobiles who park like absolute douchebags. So get on the electric chargers early before they get douchebagged. Every other thing though was awesome. Room was a bit dated (no USB charging for example) yet spectacularly well maintained. The room door lock is old school mechanical, took me a couple of attempts to remember how those worked! I didn’t get to use the bar or restaurant but they looked fantastic. Every member of staff went the extra mile for me at every opportunity. The grounds are sublime, but how many moats does just one castle really need?!"

"It was overall okay, except I did not like the breakfast as much as the other Van der Valk Hotel Park Lane, but they had great options for lunch and dinner."

"Beautiful large room. Nice shower. Outstanding breakfast with everything you could wish for. Lovely building and great location. Love the bike charging in the bike lock up. Very friendly staff."

"Centrally located hotel with very nice spacious rooms and bathroom with walk in shower. Delicious breakfast buffet is included. The hotel lobby restaurant also offers lunch and dinner and Has a full bar. Parking onsite for 10 euros per night. The hotel is walking distance from the city center with plenty of lunch as dinner options. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This is an excellent hotel. The location is fabulous, super close to everything. The rooms are beautiful, bed big and extremely comfortable and location is quiet although close to everything. Breakfast is great, good choice and quality. Staff very polite and helpful. Offside parking just a short walk, perfect to stretch yourself and dog. The executive double has a bath, great, the lovely Rituals aren't as accessible but easy to work around. The coffee machine in reception is nice, be careful, cups are machine size and when full to brim need two cups to hold, and unlike me, don't take a sip to try and reduce volume unless you are prepared for burnt mouth. Overall highly recommended this hotel."

"Lovely hotel, just what was required. The room was dimly lit except for the bathroom light which was on a sensor - it had a tendency to switch off at inappropriate moments and I would have preferred it not to come on for the early hours visit."
