"It is true rhat when you first see the Gasthoff you do not get the best impression. The outside could do with renovations and the reception looks a bit messy. But it is a family run place with very friendly and accommodating people. Breakfast is nice and beautifully displayed. The rooms are small but cosy and thoroughly clean. "The hotel is situated at the end of a road and is in a very quiet location. We parked at the bottom of a hill and had to hike up to the hotel with our bags (good for your fitness!). You could drive up closer to the entrance if needed. We had been sent an email with a code to get our key out of a lockbox at the entrance, but completely forgot about this when we arrived. Tobias greeted us and gave us our key. He also explained about the drinks and food area. Drinks are taken based on an honesty...

"It is in a nice location and the rooms are very clean with nice wooden furniture. The rooms are very dark and get no direct sunlight on them and lighting is not too great. Think they need to use lighter bulbs . The internet was really poor for the duration of my stay. The mini kitchen was nice and handy"
