"Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me."

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "This was our favourite spot of the entire trip. Peaceful and cozy. Andrea met us at the yurt and gave us a quick run through. The yurt was stocked with water and instantly home-y. Firewood was available on site. The river and outdoor shower were definitely a highlight. Wish we could have stayed longer."
