Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room was clean and light, spacious. The bed was large although I found rather hard but maybe that was just me. Generous portions of shower gel and tea/coffee
The manager was very helpful and friendly
The meal I had was very generous and tasty
All in all very good value for money
Very well done
Generally I liked the pub. The downside was that hot food isn't available on Sunday evenings. There's not really much choice either, so I had to go to the nearby Chinese restaurant. Also cooked breakfasts aren't provided.
Another great staycation at The King's Arms.
Easy booking, great accommodation, friendly staff & the most amazing food.
Really good value for Money & convenient to shops on North walsham High Street.
Would very highly recommend.
Parking is possible behind the Hotel but we decided to park in a local carpark a few hundred yards away. Very reasonably priced & easy to get a ticket using the App.
The staff were so lovely and helpful. My room was so clean and fresh with all the essentials. I had dinner there and it was delicious. The only negative was that I only got to spend one night there
Room was clean and well presented Staff were helpful but check felt like a job interview 😃 .
Staff did make me aware of noise environment during my stay. But unfortunately this led to sleep disruption. Mainly caused by members of the public and anxillary equipment from the cellar.
Superb stay, friendly locals and the staff were great.
We will definitely stay here next time we are local.
Rooms are spotless, and the shower was excellent.
The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful
Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. Quick response to anything asked in house or online. Fairly easy checkin (although despite the message, I still wasn’t expecting to need to sit in the bar area before going to our room or pass on my credit details again - as I paid upfront online, but this is apparently just what they do).
Unable to park out front as only spaces for a handful of cars (maybe 4). Paid £6.50 for 24 hours parking just around the corner with the intention of staying for a carvery, but decided to move on earlier.
Clean linen, towels provided, TV with extra channels, bed small, fairly firm but fine (no spare loo roll and only a near empty one left in the bathroom on arrival, but only stayed 1 night). Small but efficient room, tea, coffee and biccies provided.
Lovely breakfast bag was an unexpected but a lovely touch. Enjoyed the porridge and other treats.
As expected when you stay above a pub on a Saturday night there’s going to be noise, but it really didn’t go on too late. This venue seems to get a little more lively from 10pm (and had the youngest clientele but otherwise for a Saturday night - in the summer - it was a pretty quiet area.
