"We stayed 3nights with breakfast Arrived late evening, greeted by the night staff man, he was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was better than expected, lovely pub , food was cooked freshly with good options for hot or continental breakfast. Staff again very welcoming, helpful & food came out in good time. Overall hotel and rooms, needs full returb, carpets in rooms are old , stained & dirty. Make sure you bring you slippers or sliders. Bathrooms very dated, but clean and done the job. Beds need new mattresses, pillows comfy & offer extra pillows , they have a fan , iron, ironing board, hairdryer, soap, towels and small towels in the room. Tea, coffee, etc and biscuits also. Overall a good stay & would stay again for the price it’s pretty decent."

"Enjoyed my stay only issue I had was on returning to hotel late one night there was a man sat on sofa which asked me as I walked in what my room number was, I said I ain’t telling you my room number. Entered the lift then the receptionist opened lift and told me to come to reception so they can check my booking. I am assuming the man on sofa may have been security but he didn’t say who he was just what’s your room number. I told them I didn’t want to give my room number to a random man sat on sofa as I am a woman staying alone"

"Arrived and got checked-in quickly. Had a bit of a walk to our room as a lot of the rooms are towards the back of the hotel. Had a nice stay and sleep. Did think it was going to be loud/noisy as there was a wedding going on but it was really quiet and couldn't fault the stay. Never had breakfast/food but the bar area etc looked really nice"

"It was very hot during our stay so it was lovely to find a fan in our room. There was also a drinks chiller so we could keep drinks cold. A nice room with a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Character room, good size with everything you would need. There were a few things that needed refreshing but it was all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was really good, hot and well presented with good coffee/tea. Good value for money and good location for many places to visit."
