The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed."

"Wonderful and peaceful stay. The host was very friendly. All the amenities were provided. Recommend booking the spacious room. It can sleep up to 6 with laundry and kitchen."

"We love being in the country. The house surrounded by beautiful landscapes. It worked perfectly for our plans. We went to all the attractions on the north end and east . Visited Raufarhofn, Husavik , Arttic Henge, Egilsstadir seeing waterfalls, caldrons, amazing canyons, lighthouses, sheep and horses. Great restaurant , Farm to Table I believe was the name. Akuyeri was a short drive away. Great place to stay and explore. "

"We enjoyed our night here as we explored Northern Iceland. I was concerned that it might feel really tight with 6 adults - and it probably would have for a longer stay, but for a quick overnight or a longer stay for a family with kids (who would enjoy the small playground), it's great. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous."

"We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. Mývatn - Berjaya Iceland Hotels

10/10 Excellent

"Very modern hotel with clean spacious rooms. Bathrooms clean, actually provided L'Occitane toiletries! Only thing missing was lotion. None of the Iceland hotels ave lotions and most do not provide shampoos and conditioners. Hotel rooms had large windows with lovely views. Had a very pleasant stay here even though only stayed one night. They had ample parking. They had hot tubs which we didn't use as we just came from Myvatn nature baths which is very close to the hotel. "
