"Rooms full of mosquitoes but no repellent or mosquitoe nets yet the hotel is besides a river, smelly rooms something wrong with the plumbing, noise from the road, fake lawn instead of carpets inside the rooms, fake chandeliers, doors that do not lock properly, waiting for 2 hours before being checked in. The is no 24 hour reception there. The one who does the checking in does not stay at that hotel, you will have to wait till she comes to check you in. Had this other occupant saying that that...

"We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to find an air conditioner in the main bedroom but the second room had only a ceiling fan. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a fridge, kettle, makings of coffee. Plenty of water and ample hot water for the three of us. In future, I would choose to eat in Colesberg, about 5 Kilometers away. Safe parking was provided and our bicycle stayed on the car."

"What a gem. The TLC that Bernice and Gert put into Cunningham Cottage is very visible. Our rroom was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The garden is an oasis. And the meals were amazing. Taking the dinner opton is well worth it! Kuruman itself gets a bad rap, but the Cunningham Cottage is well worth a stay on your N14 drive-through."

"We had such a great stay at River Place Manor. We will definitely be back when we visit Upington again. Our shower drain was clogged but the staff was super quick to address it and even comped our dinner as a result. The customer service was suburb and the room service was spectacular. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting! "
