Charged my credit card additional charge for an unknown reason that they couldn’t explain but later took it off used the reason because I used hotel.com then when I checked out and asked for a receipt was told they couldn’t give me one to contact Hotel.com. Apparently they don’t like for you to book their rooms from somebody besides going straight through them"

"We missed the last ferry to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel and really enjoyed staying at Hamilton Inn. We had a room on the bottom floor and it had a balcony that overlooked the beach and we watched all of the birds and ducks passing by. The breakfast was good. And the hot tub after a cold day was perfect. "

"Nice staff and beautiful property. Nice to be right on the beach. Location is a bit far from downtown, but we had a vehicle so it was fine. "

"We were welcomed with warm greetings from polite staff. Rooms was clean and comfortable. Had a partial view of the pool and GT Bay. Perfect location for a beautiful sunset too! "

"The hot tub was only lukewarm which was a little disappointing since the outdoor temperature was in the low 40s. Otherwise the beach view room and overall stay was excellent. We will stay here again."
