While our conducted tour to the fjords was cancelled due to bad weather, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the Paris of the north i.e., Tromso. Due to its central location we were able to walk to the Polaris Museum, the Radhus (Town Hall), the City Library, the Cathedral, and eat at some nice restaurants including the one in the hotel itself. "

"The rooms are great but it is harder not having anyone on reception to enquire about parking or any other matters. It could be signposted and the parking site needs cleaning up and marking out. Thanks for a good stay. "

"Such a lovely cool hotel with fabulous views. Large window in room which was great with the fantastic views. I only stopped one night but would definitely be worth stopping a bit longer to take advantage of what the hotel offers and some of the trips. Very spacious room. Complimentary coffee. Food served all day. Very easy to get to from Tromso, fab journey, great scenery. My trip was April, but would like to return during the winter. Great."
