"The "rooms" are more like bungalows and are wonderful and pretty private. The food at the restaurant was great every time we ate there. The only possible downside is parking and walking to your bungalow, but porters bring your luggage for you and I'm sure they will get it for you when you check out. We took our own. The night tour for frogs was great and easy walk, we actually saw a sloth on our walk. We also took the sloth tour and saw 7! Including 2 moms with babies:) We ran out of time to do...

"The rooms at this hotel were a perfect size. I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the room and it had keys so you could lock it if you left with all your belongings inside of it. Everything seemed brand new. The only thing was I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower lol the only recommendation I would have would be to put a nightstand in the bedroom as there is nowhere to set anything. Overall, it was an excellent stay, very very clean nice location."

"Even though I booked this hotel for the amazing views of the volcano and we had rain and clouds the entire time so we never saw the volcano, we still enjoyed our stay immensely! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot foods and made-to-order eggs/omelettes, and Heliconia was quite good for dinner. The grounds were beautiful even without a view of the volcano and we really enjoyed the offsite hot springs that were included with complimentary...

"Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was so beautiful and spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Allan helped us check in and it was really amazing, he took time to show us the sloth train and even bring a telescope for us to see sloths up in the trees. The food at the restaurant was incredible, don’t miss the cooked to order breakfast that is included in your stay! From check in to check out we felt welcome and special! Will definitely stay again! "This was our first time to La Fortuna and this was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms although not large are very comfortable. The bathroom is very well equipped and you have a safe. The only thing I would have wished for was a chair to be able to sit and write. We spent each afternoon in the different pools and met so many people from different places and countries. The lunch we had was also one of our favorites. The soup and the fish were so amazing. We will definitely stay here...

"Such a beautiful place. Our room was outstanding with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi. We could sit on the porch for hours and watch nature. The trail was amazing. The hotel is on a very steep property but carts were readily available to assist. All staff were amazing, pool and pool bar very nice. Good breakfast. "
