"The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "

"4 nights. 34 steps to go up to the second floor. A good sized unit but not good quality linen, pillows and the bed is sinking in the middle. Lots of helpful items to use. Needs checking to improve some areas and Entry details need to be sent at least 48 hours before."

"Room was clean and host helpful. Checkin experience was very helpfully outlined. Location is slightly back from the busy dining area but everything is right there if you want it. Also no outside noise heard in the apartment at all. Having access to a quiet pool was also great. The property is well decorated, full of natural light, very cozy and comfortable for relaxing. Also found all the thoughtful items, products and loanable items were endless, with everything thought of. Highly recommend"
