"I inquired about late check-in because we were driving in from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The front desk associate said they would leave the motel room door unlocked with they key inside. This made us very uncomfortable because it's very unsafe. My mother paid for the room for this reason and asked for a refund but was denied. "Doesn't look like much from the outside, But JR is the most accommodating owner ever, and the place is very clean on the inside. Beds are comfortable, Keurig coffee maker, Roku TV, microwave and fridge. Bathroom is bright and clean. The main building has a bar and pool table (free pool) and it is the most unique woodlands theme ever! Must see! JR has good recommendations for dining and everything is 15-20 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay."

"Toilet was dirty. Door had big gaps so the room was cold. Outdated tv. Left a day early because i gound a roach in the bathroom. Got pulled over coming in and was investagated for drug activity because the hotel is know for that."
