Our family had a Christmas celebration in the area. One of my sisters and I travel out of state with our immediate families. We LOVED the house! It was so cozy, yet there was plenty of room. The hosts had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I liked that the hotel was close to the freeway but off the beaten path so you weren't right downtown & it was quiet.

We will NOT be back. For the amount of money we spent on a room, and to have staff bark at you is totally unacceptavle.

Northwood is a great little town about 7 miles east of the hotel. The hotel is not in Northwood. It is adjacent to the Diamond Jo casino on I-35. If you have time, drive into town! there are retaurants, a micro brewery, parks and museums!
