"Casino connected is nice but hate the smoking in the casino. Sad that they no longer have pool and hot tub. We booked a king room through Expedia and got 2 queens. They are doing a lot of remodeling, so will be nicer in the future."

I liked that the hotel was close to the freeway but off the beaten path so you weren't right downtown & it was quiet.

We will NOT be back. For the amount of money we spent on a room, and to have staff bark at you is totally unacceptavle.

Northwood is a great little town about 7 miles east of the hotel. The hotel is not in Northwood. It is adjacent to the Diamond Jo casino on I-35. If you have time, drive into town! there are retaurants, a micro brewery, parks and museums!
