"Great, friendly, very helpful and welcoming staff. Buffet breakfast very convenient with lots of options. Bed soft. Walls very thin. Noisy neighbors on both nights made it hard to sleep, and shower very loud from inside the room. Clean. Convenient to Bates College. "

"Room walls were very dirty and with lots of scuff marks. The bathroom sink was completely plugged and the tile on the shower floor was nasty the grout was dirty and moldy looking. Also the piece of furniture underneath the TV was in horrible condition. "

"We needed to drive from the hotel to the main lodge, but it was a super short trip. No big deal room and hotel were very clean. Staff very helpful. The hot tub outside was an excellent way to end of the day."

"We stayed in the renovated floor and it was really nice and modern. The breakfast was fantastic and staff were all very friendly. We will absolutely be back the next time we visit family in Maine! Highly recommend! "

"Great place, love the easy ski in and out access. Love the ski storage (concierge style). Grateful for the amenities: steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi and gym. Lobby area was nice to sit and enjoy the fireplace. Cute little touches like the marshmallows for roasting and the tea in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and even the sauna area could use a bit of an upgrade as it seems like it's probably been a while but that is minor compared to the great experience. Also, take note that the food everywhere in the area is quite expensive. Would highly recommend. "

"We picked The Bethel Inn Resort mainly for the location since we were skiing at Sunday River Ski Resort, and that part worked out great. The price felt reasonable, and having a continental breakfast included was a nice perk. The heated outdoor pool, sauna, and gym building were all really nice after a long day on the mountain. The room itself was pretty basic and definitely a bit dated. No USB outlets, which feels like an easy upgrade these days. Parking is out front, and if you’re staying farther back (like we were), it’s kind of a haul carrying ski gear. We ate at the restaurant one night—honestly, it felt a little chaotic and understaffed. The food was just okay, but portions were solid. Overall, we’d probably stay again because of the location and amenities, but next time we’d try to get a room closer to the main building and avoid the Fairway side."
