met by the owner upon arrival who gave us a tour of the chalet and explained the workings of the cooker , microwave and television. property was very clean and comfortable.

wonderfully relaxing

we stayed for a glorious week, weather was excellent. location of chalet ideal for touring the immediate area. the chalet was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. I had occasion to visit the local health centre and the service was great. Mundesley is a very pleasant resort and the locals are very friendly.

We spent an enjoyable week at this property. The high standard of furnishings made a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. My particular favorite was a dishwasher. This adds to the relaxing holiday experience. Would recommend, hopefully visit again next year

Fourth stay.......... need I say more 😊

Stayed at The Shack for the fourth time with my mother from the 12-19 June. Always love it, it’s a home from home. Very clean and comfortable and well situated for amenities. Ian and Laura are perfect hosts, friendly and approachable, lots of homely touches and attention to detail make this the perfect place to stay. Will definitely be coming again 👍😊

Fourth stay at this home from home

Fourth stay here with my mum for the week 25th June to 2nd July. Absolutely perfect, if it doesn’t suit you, you’re hard to please. Very good location, beautifully kept, quiet park. Everything you need for a great holiday. Many thanks to Laura and Ian who are wonderful hosts. Hope to come back next year.

Fabulous me time

Really lovely ,comfortable and all needs met. Everything needed was provided. Lovely location. Great outside space.Beach a short walk away. I wa so stressed when i arrived 5 days later feel like a new person.. I cant praise hosts enough. So helpful and flexible. Really fantastic will definitely go again.

Great little gem in the ocean!

Went with this property as reviews were great, location, parking and all that we wanted, were in one place. Everything was as we hoped and more. Lovely location for the beach. Most things we wanted were all in walking distance and Cromer was only 7 miles by car. The shack was great, clean, tidy and modern. Everything we wanted and more. Laura and Ian a lovely couple and on hand if we wanted anything. Can totally recommend and we would be very happy to stay again and probably will. Def 5Star *

Norfolk's secret.

Everyone who holidays in Mundesley knows it is a hidden gem in North Norfolk. They love it, it's not a centre of attraction, and they want to keep it that way. There is plenty to do, and it is never overwhelmingly busy, despite the numbers who visit for the child-friendly beach. The Links Chalet Park is a throw-back to the 1960s where children can play safely on the wide expanse of green. The Shack is one of the best, if not the best, and most comfortable chalets to rent on the park. There is so much to do locally, from boat trips, steam trains, crabbing in Cromer, tours on the Broads, but my favourite pastime is swimming out to sea and waiting for the passing seals.

Relaxing break in Mundesley

The Chalet more than lived up to its description. Stylishly decorated, well appointed and in a good location on the site, close to amenities in the village. Going on holiday during the pandemic is not the usual experience and I had minimal expectations of what might be open. What I discovered, were a few useful shops, a couple of takeaways and a pub that looks fab when fully open. There’s also a stunning blue flag beach. All of this was around a 10-15 minute walk from the chalet. Perfect. Finally, Laura and Ian are such generous, friendly people and nothing was too much trouble for them. A great stay in a bijou 5 star shack.

What a brilliant find!

I highly recommend The Shack! Wonderful communication from Laura and Ian, nothing left to guess work. The Shack was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Beautifully fresh bedding and towels. A really good sized shower too. It's really well positioned for all of the beautiful places in the area. Good food very nearby. Great fish and chips and chinese takeaway within a short walk.We can't wait to return! Thank you so much.

Great Location

We had clear communication with Laura and had a fantastic week in the shack which was lovely, clean and comfortable. The site was so peaceful and great location near to a Tesco express and a 15 minute stroll to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed Sunday lunch in the Ship, fish n chips from their chip shop (good choice for vegetarians too) which is great because you can eat it in The garden overlooking the beach. The pizza van came on Tuesday that was delicious. Chinese/thai takeaway was superb, the village chippy was also great and very popular. We found Mundlesey a great area to explore further afield from. Laura had left all the cleaning products, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, sachets of sauces etc in the fridge, so there’s everything there you will need. We highly recommend staying at the Shack.

Ab Fab

Think this may be the seventh time my mum and I have stayed here. Laura and Ian are excellent hosts. The Shack is always spotless and welcoming. A real home from home. Everything is pristine and perfect. Links chalet park is well maintained and quiet and perfectly situated for all amenities. Really relaxing. We can recommend the Royal Hotel Sunday carvery. Also had coffee at the Woodland holiday park at Trimingham which is open to non residents and also serves meals although we didn’t eat here the prices looked reasonable and a lovely setting. Lots of hidden gems to explore in the area, East Ruston old Vicarage Gardens highly recommended. As always an excellent holiday and hope to return next year.

A real 5 star shack

Beautifully clean and well presented. Everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Quiet location on a small chalet park with a large circular grass area in the centre. Small supermarket nearby and a short walk into Mundesley. Good contact with the owner

Five star SHACK is 5 star

Property was really great with all the amenities, near to beaches and shops. Laura and Ian provided everything you need in a nice property, along with all the details and guidance you need to plan your stay and activities. It was a lovely stay, although weather wasn't that great, but we all really loved our holidays and the lovely property. We will plan our stay there soon.

Smashing Stay

Bright, clean and very comfortable. Was like staying in a hotel room with all manor of toiletries, etc provided. Beds very comfy. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring North Norfolk.
