Lovely Accommodation

Very friendly staff, very busy, could have done with another member of staff as they seemed a bit overstretched. Lovely location, nice & quiet. Good menu & food, nice atmosphere. Very comfortable bed. Would happily return & recommend.

Lovely country pub with accommodation. Room was very comfortable and clean with good quality linen. Dinner was well priced with large servings. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with good quality ingredients. Only criticism is that there were no breakfast options for children. Perhaps some cereal on offer would go along way for kids or even just a simple boiled egg with soldiers. Thanks for a lovely safe stay!

I wish we could have stayed longer

The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful, sweet. The room was large and the tub was wonderful. The food was really great. Some of the best we have had on this trip.

Par excellence. Been ages since we have found a vombination of great food and oustanding accommodation. Tv could be larger in such a large room 6. Staff were amazing Angie advised us perfectly. We stay out about 2/3 nights a week, this was amazing

I stay at a lot of hotels in the course of my work and although this stay was a personal one, I can say that it was excellent on any measure. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, the room spacious, impecably clean and with all the provisions that you would expect. I would highly recommend this hotel / accommodation, which to put into context is the first time over many years where I have felt it appropriate to do so.

Room was nice and warm, bed was comfortable, my only gripe was the amount of cobwebs on the ceiling, down the sides of furniture and wardrobe. Can’t comment on breakfast because we felt it was a little expensive and choose to eat elsewhere.

We booked a table for Sunday at 1645 for 7+2 children and the family arrived on time. We ordered pretty promptly and waited about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Breakfast on Monday morning (paid separately) similar. Arrived for breakfast at 08:05 (advertised start time 08:00) and food arrived 08:45. Limited selection of breakfast cereal - 2 options only Plenty of flies in the dining areas on both occasions Room really good and quiet We’ve eaten here several times before and always been impressed - this time somewhat disappointed.

Unfortunately, there were flies in the Bedroom & Restaurant, and you had to continually battle to keep the flies off the food & drinks. Raised it with a member of staff who said there was nothing they could do, it was just the season. Suggest management need to take the problem seriously, and find the source.

Nice place in a lovely area.

The room was huge and bed very comfortable, and the pub itself had great food. Really nice breakfast too. You can go for nice walks from the door too.
