Top Farm Shepherds Lodge, nestled in a peaceful farm in Marsham, North Norfolk
Shepherds Lodge, complete with its Grill & Chill Shack, is nestled in the corner of Top Farm’s Ovens Mouth Field, offering magnificent sunsets. It’s the perfect spot for a luxurious, peaceful glamping getaway in North Norfolk. This Lodge is spacious and designed to blend seamlessly with nature, with earthy tones that evoke a sense of comfort and tranquillity. Be sure to take in the view and keep an eye out for horses passing by as you unwind in this serene setting.
Inside, it offers a surprisingly spacious and light filled interior, blending luxury with comfort in every corner. The living area features a large corner sofa, perfect for snuggling up and soaking in the spectacular meadow views. A wood burner sits at the heart of the lodge, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. For those quiet, rainy days or relaxed evenings, a shelf of books and a selection of board games provide plenty of entertainment.
Shepherds Lodge boasts an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, including a two ring induction hob, ample worktop space, a combi-microwave grill, an integrated fridge and generous storage to keep essentials neatly tucked away.
The subtly divided bedroom offers a cosy atmosphere with a king-size bed featuring a plush mattress, premium linens and a reclaimed oak headboard. Additional touches include a built-in cupboard and wardrobe, bedside tables and soft night lighting for added charm and convenience.
The private bathroom features a large walk-in shower, WC and vanity unit crafted from reclaimed vintage oak, complete with an upcycled copper jam pot sink.
There is a lovely veranda with a Grill & Chill Shack, perfect for preparing hearty meals outdoors. It’s equipped with a sink, stools, and a raised BBQ station at the bar, allowing you to cook, relax, and take in the stunning panoramic views all at once. Perfectly placed for exploring local market towns, scenic coastal paths, or simply stargazing from your doorstep, this Lodge is the kind of place that’s hard to leave and easy to love.
Shepherd’s Lodge is nestled in peaceful seclusion on the edge of the farm, located in a field once referred to as Ovens Mouth. This field borders the 288-acre Marsham Heath (SSI). The name 'Ovens Mouth' dates back nearly 200 years, originating at a time when fields were named to help illiterate farm workers tell them apart, reducing the chances of ploughing the wrong fields or misplacing hedgerows.
Outside: Veranda and Grill & Chill Shack: With a bar, sink, stools and gas barbecue - and magnificent views! There is also an area to use your own disposable barbecue if preferred.
