"This was a fabulous choice as a stop over on our Dordogne adventure. Chris was there to welcome us and show us around the property, and even though we were a little early he invited us in to enjoy the facilities. "The reason I booked this b&b was they were supposed to be multi lingual so they could give us information as to what to see go eat etc but they only spoke French It’s a very nice location but you can only use the pool at certain times and if you wanted food poisoning there was a barbecue area to use"

"Set in quiet countryside but close to le Bugue and Limeuil. Nicholas and Michel are great hosts and will be a loss to the area when they move to Bordeaux next year. The pool is clean and it's nice to find one with a proper deep end. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed. The food is wonderful. "

"Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. We had a terrific dinner prepared by a French chef, Jean Claude and even went to the market in the morning with him and Don to pick out...

"I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful B&B! The building is stunning, set in a wonderfully peaceful location with original features enhanced by both old and new furniture. We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
