"Good sized gite in beautiful grounds with easy access to the heated swimming pool, hot tub and fishing lake. Hosts, Pat and Tony, were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and available, if needed. As a group of family and friends, we had a great week with something for everyone."

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "Well what can I say our stay was simply lovely. The photos do not capture the magical element of Les Patis. The properties charm was delightful. Tony and Pat are both great hosts and could not do enough for our family to make sure our stay was special. Tony even set up a DVD and TV in the communal room by the pool, for all the children staying in the Gites. Our children loved making friend's and now have pen pals in Hamburg, Dublin, and Wigan. "The house is set at the end of a very rural drive through the French countryside. Whilst VERY rustic, it has all the amenities you would expect, but is a compromise between a pretty old building and modern refurbishment. Perhaps not for everyone, but we loved it. P.S. mind your head on the beams upstairs."

"Very nice, quiet location near charming small towns and walks in the forests. A house with local character that has been thoughtfully updated. Plenty of space for two couples. Loved the large fireplace and well stocked kitchen. Our host, Thierry, was very accommodating and full of suggestions."

"Nous sommes 4 amis (2 femmes, 2 hommes) et nous voulions visiter de petits villages du Perche et de la région de l'Aigle. Le charmant petit village de la Gonfrière offrait une situation idéale. "Only stayed one night, rental was very easy to find in a very remote peaceful location. Travelling with our dog so wanted to be in the countryside. Rental had everything needed, comfy bed and good shower. Didn’t really use kitchen but looked more than fully equipped. It is very remote but that’s what we wanted.."

"The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The property itself holds lots of history, we stayed for one night in the luxury suite which was very spacious and clean. There are a few restaurants to choose from in this quaint town. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. "
