Great hotel, lovely breakfast, large comfortable beds and helpful staff. This hotel has parking which is a must for weekend stays and was an ideal location for an event we were attending, good transport links and lovely walks locally. We would stay here again 5*, we visited for a 3 night weekend stay.

The menu was varied both at breakfast and in the evening. Well stocked bar. The room was very hot, even with the provided fan but the bed was comfortable. Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome. It would have been useful to have more written information, such as a selection of tourist brochures.

Always a pleasure staying at the Beeches hotel. Your Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. I do recommend the king or queen rooms rather than the single and doubles. They are a upgrade and worth it. The gym and pool/sauna are a lovely relaxing treat. The breakfast buffet is worth it. Fills you up for the day. Free parking included. A new surprise from other stays was the location of the hotel, hidden behind the main road estate is a beauiful river and park that provides an relaxing walk away from the busy road. I will continue using beeches as my go to 2nd home when staying in that part of the country. Thanks

Fantastic Hotel – Highly Recommend! Stayed here the night before the Nottingham 70.3 Ironman and couldn’t have picked a better spot – only 10 minutes from the event, making it the perfect location. The hotel itself is fantastic. The spa is absolutely beautiful and spotless, offering a great place to relax. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent – great quality and great value for money. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Good room.

Clean tidy small double, easy car parking, pool small but good for a refreshing dip. Friendly staff. Breakfast was not so great, English cooked breakfast was of poor quality.

Was well priced and convenient for our needs. But a few things did annoy me: -no hooks in bathroom for hanging towels on -bathroom was not cleaned one of the days yet we received new towels and bedroom was cleaned -one of the replacement mugs was dirty -bin collection at 6am was not appreciated as our room was above the bin area at the back of the hotel -room 38 was interesting, classed as floor 1 yet in the attic and such a crazy route to get there invoving going up a few stairs, then going down a few stairs and then going up some more stairs to a landing with 3 rooms off it. Was tricky negotiating the route with a large suitcase

Cosy hotel

Only disadvantage of this hotel that I've found is lack of air conditioning in the rooms which is a slight discomfort with outside temperatures above 30°C and some rooms having solid double glazing. Luckily Mary at the reception was helpful and changed my room for the one where I was able to partly open the window. Corridors leading to rooms are sort of small labyrinths... Other than that, nice place to stay.

Convenient location but……..

Good location/parking and friendly staff. Room ok, but no aircon meant leaving the windows open and being woken by binmen at 6.30am! Inconvenient not to have a shelf in the shower (despite previous feedback). Lots of stairs to get to the room. Breakfast was ok for the money, but fairly basic and lukewarm in parts.

It was 29° in Nottingham and the room had no air conditioning. I had the window open all night for a smidge of air but the traffic noise was disturbing.
