We are from Atlanta, Ga and stayed here 4/18 - 4/20 prior to our 30th anniversary cruise to Italy. The Hotel is amazing. The staff are amazing. They were so helpful and accommodated our every request. I would like to compliment the Chef de Partie and staff. The breakfast was fantastic! Such a beautiful place. Old, beautiful, well-maintained and staffed with outstanding young people. I especially enjoyed Maria at the front desk, Jose Manuel our porter. But really, all of them were so helpful and lovely. Charming, even. I love this place. I think I’m too old to make my way back to Barcelona again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here. Each time we returned to the hotel and were greeted by the doorman, it felt like we were returning to a place that cares about us.

I loved my ninth floor room with a terrace overlooking the city. The modern bathroom and amenities were much appreciated. Also enjoyed tapas and a cocktail on the rooftop bar.

Excellent hotel! We love how the full staff treat the visitors. We appreciate the opportunity of early checkin due our flight arrived in the morning. The room was clean and quiet. We planned to return after our cruise but unfortunately it was fully booked. Very recommended!
