We ended up having snow on Christmas Day which was a treat. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen! Has absolutely everything you can think of. Made Christmas lunch a breeze!Beds super comfy and warm.We loved the fire place - we spent a lot of time in front of it playing cards. Hitchy the donkey and Napoleon the bull were a great surprise - very friendly animals - Hitchy loved carrots! We would hunt them day each day to say hello!We felt very safe and secure on the estate - didn’t have to lock doors. Easy to get in and out.The area of Monts is really lovely - very picturesque with an old church. Supermarkets and boulangerie very close by. One stop on the train into Tours.Chateau nearby.
