I based my booking on the free airport shuttle. The hotel exceeded my expectations! We arrived by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station. There's a short section walking along a busy road (no sidewalk, but a trail), but an easy walk. The hotel room was basic and clean. Comfotable bed, spacious bathroom, some rooms have balconies. We arrived at the Poli after a long day driving. It was a wonderfully pleasant surprise. It is clear they have a lot of pride in their hotel; room was spacious and comfortable; staff friendly; priced great; breakfast was fresh with lots of choices. We did not want to drive in Milan so parked at a nearby metro station and it was very easy to get right downtown with no hassles. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
