It was a nice small town you can visit on a day trip from Belgrade. It takes only one hour by bus ($7). Please make sure to take an express bus as the regular bus that makes many stops takes more than 2 hours.






If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Grbavica and surrounding area, you can visit Serbian National Theatre and Freedom Square.

While there might not be top attractions in Bistrica, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Serbian National Theatre and Freedom Square.

This is a hub for local gangsters who shut the restaurant down for one man to have lunch, while bodyguards roam the lobby and the parking lot and they on the sidewalk. The employees are all terrified, and it just makes for not a great atmosphere.

The room was clean and spacious, staff helpful and friendly and it is located within close walking distance to the square and loss of cafes and restaurants. The only complaint was that the curtains didn’t close all the way and there was a bright light shining directly onto my pillow at night.

It is filled with wonderful shopping, restaurants, museums, parks, and views of the Danube River.
Great city to visit for culture, strolling and dining. We did a free city walking tour, very informative and interesting.
