This is a gem in a small town. Placed like this are usually dated in decor and design, but this one is recently remodled. The staff is very nice and it was perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had!

This is a recently refurbished motel very clean towels fluffy and smelt fresh. Lady who checked us in very friendly only do light breakfast cereal, tea, coffee. Would recommend this motel.

The room was recently updated so that everything was clean and worked well. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The water in the shower got warm very quick and the unit itself was new and worked perfectly. The bathroom is small but for two retired people it is just fine. Quiet and we could park at the door.

Property is newly renovated and you park in front of your room. Rooms have queen size bed(very comfortable), small micro, and new size mini fridge. Bring your coffee maker and a few hangers. Nice big walk-in shower. Area is light industrial but felt very safe and outside lighting is excellent. Owners are very friendly and helpful. I think there maybe a small breakfast area, but not sure. We will definitely stay at the Gibson on our next trip to the area. You won't be disappointed.

Some hiccups

Check in was quick. Room was cosmetically updated. The bathroom light was motion activated with the sink and lightswitch were behind the door, which was weird. Very small but has a fridge, desk and a tv, but wouldnt scan any channels and wanted me to sign into an account to watch tv. I dont sign into things at random places or use public wifi. Eating dinner on the bed and all my lights go out. Female, alone, strange place, and power goes out in just my room is a set up for a slasher movie. Front desk was very nice and personable and I liked that I could park right in front and unload/load easily. The bed was comfy and it was very clean. Some hiccups, not every stay is perfect, but I would stay here again because it was clean and the checkin person was great.

Cozy motel, wonderful recent renovations!

We booked our room a bit last-minute, but everything was ready for us when we arrived; check in was easy, the room was tidy and clean and cozy, very comfortable. The recent renovations were well done, rooms well-appointed. Would definitely recommend!

The owner, Landon, was the one who checked me in and checked me out. Nowata is a very small town, but he has revitalized this motel. He has taken the last couple of years to update the rooms. They are very nice. If you have to be in Nowata or somewhere near the town, stay at Gibson Motel.
