"I don't understand why this place has positive reviews. It shows up as it would be a hotel, but there is no concierge or anyone to greet you-and no one spooke any English. There was no opportunity to get security because there was no information about anything. There was no way to lock the door to the room, and as a single woman traveling alone, I felt incredibly unsafe. I pushed the chair against the door with all of my suitcase. That is Seth. At least I would hear if somebody was coming in....

"We had a restful stay at Domus Olbia Inn, the aircon, bed and shower was all we needed! Had a TV too for late night cartoons. Other reviews say they were bothered by the closeness to a busy road but honestly with the shutters closed I didn’t hear anything. We couldn’t get the shower head to stay up fully but that’s the only criticism. Beautiful courtyard to eat and relax in too. "

"The house is very nice. The only problem for us was that they don’t clean the room every day and they didn’t say, so when we came back it was all messy. Also the day we were leaving we forgot the keys inside and we had to wait for a hour so that the staff can contact someone else inside so they could open us. So in case of emergency there is no one close by the property to help out. "

Location manager nice and friendly, only downside was asking for additional money for second person even agreement and permission was cleared before takeover of room. Room had in one corner mold on the curtain and wall due to moisture from outer wall. "

Absolutely beautiful little hotel, big double room, fab decor, amazing service, snacks and water provided and amazing care taken in making sure we were happy. We forgot to take an iron and this was bought for us which literally saved us from a disaster. Do not be dragged into the hype of bigger hotels when small gems like this are just as good- if not better! "

"We stayed at Altre Guest house for 2 nights. Enrico and Chiara were very helpful from the beginning of our trip to Olbia from Cagliari. They sent us information how to get there and Enrico was waiting for us at the guest house when we arrived. The room was extremely clean, tidy, very well equipped. There is a little kitchenette with all the utensils you need. There are some kitchen equipments like coffee machine, kettle, fridge even a milk frother. "The area is amazing, the breakfast great and the staff friendly. Unfortunately we had allergies to dust mites in the facility and were not provided with any sort of response signaling that the staff would take measures to even check for dust mites or deep clean the facility in response to our feedback. We had breathing issues and had to leave (it only happened in the room, and to several of us)."

"The room’s hot water only lasted for one shower in the evening. Once that person got out, the shower was cold for the other person. Also the hot water didn’t work the next morning for the shower at all."
