"Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "

"Foods are okay. Damaged/torn bedding and towels, dust came from the ceiling, used/dirty duvet covers, one bed was broken and kept top of the on the wood, outdated shower room. Not value for money. "

"This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! "

"Absolutely AMAZING. Our best stay in Sri Lanka. The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. "Had a great stay here for 2 nights. The sheets were really lovely as were the pillows. Breakfast 2 fried eggs 2 sausages fruit platter and toast and jam, juice, water and tea or coffee."
