"The Aberdare Country Club is for the most part amazing, but with so much potential to be more than it is. The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights."

"Nice hotel. We only stayed one night so I can't judge local game and wildlife activities. Our room was really good and we had a very nice meal by an open fire in the restaurant. Very cosy. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Nice gardens. One thing to note is that the power is provided by a generator so it's not always on. Probably not a problem if you're out all day. "Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly.
