Beautiful spacious home near the New River Gorge National Park. When you step on the private back patio you can make your way to the fire pit where you can kick your feet up and relax and cookout on the grill. Afterwards you can enjoy the peaceful night sky and keep an eye out for wildlife that may be passing by. There is a 6 person amish made patio set, 6 adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit and a 5 person hot tub.

The house had plenty of room for all of us. The fire pit and hot tub were great and nice seating. The owners had plenty of wood ready. The location was handy. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Rockers on front porch were nice too. Game room was great too. The kitchen was not clean.

Beautiful house on a hill overlooking the road. We had the whole family together and the house is set up for big groups to be able to hang out, laugh, play games and enjoy themselves. Huge table with open kitchen concept so people cooking and cleaning can still be a part of the fun. Our grandkids loved the game room and we enjoyed the house. Would definitely stay again. Oh and the sheets smelled Amazing!!!!

We loved everything about this place. It was just as described in listing and had plenty of space for four adult couples as we celebrated Christmas together. The house was even decorated for Christmas. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We were close to a nice walking trail. The coffee bar was well stocked. We could all sit around the table for meals and games.and there was plenty of comfy seating for movies in the evening. Hosts were very responsive responding to any questions

The hosts Tom and Haley were accessible and responsive. We enjoyed the fire pit with smores on a starry evening, hot tub in snow showers and the garage game room kept the kids busy when weather didn't cooperate. The hosts even had the home decorated for the season, which was a very nice touch. We enjoyed breakfast at the Cathedral Cafe (highly recommend) followed by a calorie burning hike in the snow at the Endless Wall trail of New River Gorge Park. Thanks so much Tom and Haley for sharing!

Fun base camp with ping pong and other games. Great location with easy access to surrounding hikes, restaurants, rafting, etc.

Stayed for 2 days as we went on a rafting trip in the new river gorge. Check in was easy, the house was clean and the kids absolutely loved the game room and the hot tub. The fire pit was a wonderful place to grill marshmallows at night. Overall a wonderful stay with only some small cleanup at the end. Would high recommend to stay here if plan on going rafting, great location around 10-20 from many parks and rafting agencies. Amazing 10/10

We enjoyed the outdoor table and fire pit. The grill was so dirty that my husband had to clean it prior to us being able to use it. The bathrooms were not the cleanest, as well as the baseboards, walls, carpet, kitchen cabinets and doors. Overall we were disappointed, especially for the high price we paid for 2 nights.

The manager was very communicative and made themselves available whenever needed. The house is conveniently located between food and trails. The interior has seen better days as it’s pretty worn, but the manager has it listed for the right price. Overall an excellent stay and would do it again.

We loved the area and how close the house is to Ace Adventures; we also enjoyed the game room, and comfy beds. My only complaint was the cleanliness ( mostly floors throughout , baseboards and front of cabinets in the kitchen. You can tell the house was not vacuumed before we came. Honestly I looked for the vacuum and was going to do it myself but believe your cleaning stuff was in a locked closest, but I didn’t let this ruin our stay….but thought you should know. Overall - my family had fun and that’s what matters!

Spent 3 days int he gorge with a family of 10. More than big enough for all. Enjoyed sharing memories around the fire and hot tub and the game room saved the night when the entire town and surrounding areas lost power from a wicked storm. That didnt take away from an awesome trip or time at this property. The owners were attentive to every need. We would definitely reserve again!

It was really nice and what we expected. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We were close to most of the places we wanted to see such as the Long Point trail, Sandstone Falls and boardwalk,etc.. There were a few minor things that were needed but overall it was just fine and we really enjoyed our stay.

This house was the perfect spot for our family while visiting for my oldest daughter’s graduation. The house is spacious and well equip. The area is far enough off the beaten path of Oak hill to feel private and secluded but close enough for convenience. We had lovely family dinners inside and out, loved the space for our pups to frolic the game room and hot tub were a fan favorite of our four children. The hosts were kind and responsive and a pleasure to rent from. We hope to rent the house again on subsequent trips we will have. Thank you!

This house was beautifully decorated and all amenities were well-stocked and in working order. The relaxing hot tub was a great place to come back to after a day on the trails. I highly recommend this local gem for your next vacation! 5 Stars!

My family and I are unable to travel a distance due to familial obligations so we booked this lovely home in our very own town! The property was gorgeous, the home was welcoming and perfectly decorated. It was stocked with everything you could ever need and then some! And it we an absolute breeze to communicate with Tom and Haley. We will cherish our fun little family memories made here. Would absolutely recommend.

Our group of eight had an amazing stay. The house was very nice and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit and hot tub in the backyard were great additions. The home is in a residential neighborhood but back off the road far enough where you have privacy. It is also in a great location if you are looking to check out the New River Gorge area. We would definitely stay again!

Six amazing women (ranging in age from 27-49) gathered here to brave the New River! The house was perfect. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We drank coffee on the rocking chairs on the front porch. It was a perfect house for our girls getaway!

Stayed here with family for a whitewater rafting trip at Ace Adventure. There was plenty of room for the 9 people we had staying. Communication with the owners was prompt.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is a nice place, as described. The house was easy to find, and not far away from activities. The house was very welcoming, and had snacks available and a fully stocked coffee bar with various flavors, and even hot choolate for the kiddos! The rooms were nicely decorated. All bedrooms had thier own smart TV. The beds however were very hard. Although they seem like they are some sort of memory foam, but definitely not the soft kind, just pretty firm overall. The upstairs has carpet that could use replaced. The bathrooms were not entirely clean. There were lots of small little hairs that resembled beard hair or pubic hair on the bathroom shower walls in main bathroom, and long hairs in the other bathroom. The way the shower curtain is curved, it gets the floor all wet and the toilet paper got soaked because of the position. Minor inconveniences though. The backyard area was nice. Hot tub is a wonderful addition. It was very nice and clean. The fire pit area was also nice, although we had no firewood to have an actual fire. The kitchen is well stocked and has many different cooking utensils and various cookware. There was plenty of diningware, and even tupperware and foil for leftovers. There was even laudry detergent and dishwashing soap. Everything you need, although we could not find and extra trashbags. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Great property and Communication with Tom and Haley. They were very prompt and helpful with any of our questions. The only reason cleanliness is a 4 is due to the meat that was left in the refrigerator, we has to wipe the refrigerator out and clean up the old meat.
