Bright and Beachy Oceanfront Condo - Linens included!

This first floor walkup condo has a beach cottage feel with all the modern conveniences. Load up your beach cart and spend all day chasing the sun (or kids!) between the pool and the ocean - they are steps away. An outside shower and a downstairs lockable storage closet means less sand and gear for you to worry about. Upon check in your linens will be fresh on the beds for you and hung on towel rods so that you don't have to bring them from home or unwrap expensive uncomfortable rental linens and spend the first hour of your vacation making beds (and this is included in the price of your rental without additional fee!) When the tides turn, settle in, watch TV or Netflix while you prepare meals on granite countertops in your fully stocked kitchen, and then have dinner watching the sunset from your private balcony. Blackout curtains, memory foam mattresses, and contemporary bedding mean the sound of the waves will be the last thing you hear before blissful slumber. The Oak Island Golf Course is right across the street or hop on a ferry in charming Southport over to the NC Aquarium in Fort Fisher. Whatever you do, unplug the stress at home and plug in your vacation treat yo self mode!

We like walking into the smell of a clean condo (and like our guests knowing that it's been cleaned!) so we use scented cleaning products, FYI.

Beautiful oceanfront condo that was well furnished and very comfortable. The owners provided excellent and timely information on the condo, local restaurants and exploring the local area. Loved Oak Island and our beach was beautiful and uncrowded.

Lovely location. Communication with hosts was very quick and timely. Poolside and quick boardwalk to the beach with outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Note that parking is very limited and this is a second story condo with no elevator. Quiet neighborhood unless there is a beach wedding/reception. Good value for the amenities.

This was our second time renting this unit. It’s the perfect location on the beach. It’s very clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed. We love that it’s close to restaurants in walking distance on the beach. It’s also a short drive to Southport which is such a great place to eat and shop. We also took the ferry to Fort Fisher to visit the NC Aquarium which is such a fun trip. It’s interesting to learn all about the loggerhead turtles that nest on Caswell Beach. We always get to see some nests when we stay here. We would definitely recommend staying here!

favorite new beachfront spot!

The condo was wonderful with amazing views and nicely equipped. I was impressed with the proximity to 2 beach boardwalks and location on the island. The extra spacious sectional was nice and comfortable. the owners were great and left plenty of clear instructions to navigate the condo, island and local community. If you plan to tour the lighthouse, book that tour now! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway with our 3 month old son for his first beach trip! Perfect location right on the beach and less than a mile walk to the pier and restaurants. Stuart and Brandon were excellent hosts and very responsive!

Great place, lots of thoughtful amenities provided. Beach was pristine, walking distance to fishing pier. Lots of good Restuarant’s close by. Will stay here again if we have the opportunity!

Spring Beach Getaway

We had a lovely stay! Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We loved the proximity to the beach. Sadly the pool, which they were filling for the season while we were there, was closed but we knew it might be unavailable this time of year. The only issue was that the building turned off the hose near the pool entry so we had to go look around and borrow another units shower hose to rinse our feet and beach gear each day. Besides that, it really was an ideal vacation for us. Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect location!

Our stay at Toes In The Water was great. I love visiting the beach in the off season and this was a perfect find. The property was a nice complex, and although the weather was not sunny, it provided us a great place to see the ocean and was far enough away to not have bustling traffic but close enough to get to Oak Island or Southport. Would come back when we are back in the area again! The condo was updated and beds were comfy. We loved the view!

The condo was beautiful with a very short walk to the beach. We loved that the pool was also very convenient. The owners were amazing and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this condo and it's wonderful owners.

Very comfortable condo with beautiful sunsets!

Caswell Beach is a great locale for a family getaway, even in December, and this condo is set-up to make your stay a fun and comfortable one. HUGE sectional sofa, lots of TV viewing options if you can tear yourself away from the ocean views off the deck. Grandkids loved the bunkbed. Brandon and Stuart are great hosts and their welcome book is the best we've seen yet! We could have happily stayed longer.

The perfect getaway

We stayed in the condo last year and decided to come back because of its perfect location, amenities, and cleanliness of the condo. We were enlighten to come back to the new sectional sofa, the perfect upgrade to this unit. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful condo on restful beach

My daughter and I spent a wonderful weekend together on this surf side condo…..clean, well-tended interior. Our second floor balcony overlooked a nice pool withe the dunes and beach in the background. Fifteen-twenty minute drive to the shops and restaurants in Southport. Many thanks!

In the shadow of the lighthouse…

This is a lovely little spot! It is just a few miles down the road from the Oak Island Lighthouse, and within 15 minutes of historic Southport. There are plenty of great eating spots close by, and, again, Southport has some wonderful cuisine as well. We greatly enjoyed our time here as well as Oak Island. The decor of the property is well maintained and clean. The tech is up-to-date, with streaming capable TVs. All in all this property is definitely worth a stay! 😀

Comfortable

Tropical storm Debbie changed our plans but we had a beautiful area in which to watch the rain. The owners kept us informed of the storm and checked on us. Everyone we met in Oak Island was friendly. We traveled to Southport as well. We are hoping to come back in better weather and explore the ocean. Are only compliant is someone was smoking in the pool area.

The condo was perfect and the area is fantastic!

The condo is lovely, very comfortable, very clean, and very well equipped for cooking and for relaxing. The beach is beautiful and the area is close to many attractions and places of interest. It’s also a great base for many day trips. There is a wide selection of restaurants. There are options available for almost any interest or activity. The pier is within walking distance. It’s very relaxing to sit on the balconies and watch the waves rolling in. The pool and the beach are just steps away from the condo. I can’t get say enough about what an excellent choice this condo is for a couple or for a family. It’s just simply perfect! We couldn’t have had a better experience. We expected a great condo and a great location and it exceeded our expectations! Thank you very much to our hosts for your prompt communication and for sharing this lovely condo! We definitely plan another stay and we definitely recommend this condo.

A gem! Fabulous

This place is absolutely perfect if you want to get to a beach quick, see the beach from a balcony, or just listen to the waves from the confort of your VRBO! It is well furnished and spacious with comfortable beds, pillows and extra blankets. The washer/dryer is a plus! The kitchen had everything needed to eat in and relax. Check in was easy, response was quick, and checkout clearly written and easy to complete. We will check here 1st when we return to check on availability! We loved everything about this place!

Toes in the Water Retreat

From the minute we walked through the door we could see the ocean waves rolling in and to the left was a beautiful kitchen which has view of the ocean as well. Walk in ocean front living area and main bedroom With patio doors to balcony. Everything was clean ,neat and decorated nicely . I spent a lot of time sitting on a shaded balcony enjoying the ocean . Kitchen well supplied . Pool area really nice and clean as well . Hope To get to stay here again . Stuart and Brandon were quick To Answer any questions and address any issues or concerns .

Three months at the beach

We had an amazing three month stay here (Jan. - Mar. 2024). The condo is right on top of the beach and the views were spectacular, especially in the afternoon when the sun hit the water at just the right angle. Hard to describe - you have to see it! The condo was perfectly maintained and communication with the hosts was excellent. A few minor issues were promptly resolved. The location is excellent: short drives to many restaurants on Oak Island and Southport an easy 10 minute drive away. Highly recommend Bright & Beachy (or Toes in the Water as it is also known).
