Your stylish coastal retreat awaits at Slowin Dune, a 3BR/2BA getaway tucked in the Caswell Dunes community at Oak Island Golf Club. Highlights of this lavish home include a sleek kitchen, two outdoor sitting areas, and well-appointed furnishings throughout.

Tee off in the morning, then spend blissful afternoons at the nearby beach lounging by the sparkling surf. Ride the provided bikes or cruise around in your own golf cart. Get to dining, shopping, and entertainment options in minutes.

LIVING AREA

Unwind into vacation mode on the sleeper sofa, love seat, and armchair in the living area. In the evening, settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 50' Smart TV with Roku and Wii

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare delicious meals in the sleek kitchen with granite countertops, a farm sink, a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and equipped with gourmet small appliances such as a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, food processor, blender for frozen drinks, Keurig and drip coffemakers and coffee grinder.

When its time to eat, gather around the dining table with seating for up to six.

BED & BATH

This stilted home sleeps up to eight guests between three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Sleep soundly on a stately king bed in the master suite. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead.

The second bedroom is furnished with a comfy queen bed, while the third guest room features a twin-over-full bunk bed, twin trundle, and a flat-screen TV with cable.

The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead.

An Aerobed is available as an additional bed if desired.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Start the day with fresh coffee and a coastal breeze at the bistro table for two on the front porch.

Relax in the outdoor lounge area, outfitted with two armchairs and a flat-screen TV.

An outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

Parking is available for four cars in the driveway.

This raised single-level home is accessed via a flight of exterior steps.

Please note that the community pool is not available for guest use since this home is not part of the HOA.

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The golf cart makes a trip to the beach so convenient. We love traveling with our pups and this was a very nice house for our beach getaway. The owner was very nice and we will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Caswell Beach!

Property was mostly clean - we noticed a few cockroaches outside which is fine/normal for the beach, but found one in the house which wasn't great... Other than this, the house was in great condition, clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The showers were great, outdoor shower and hose was nice, and the golf cart was a great amenity to get to and from the beach access. The AC worked well, and hot water was good, and the living room TV was nice.

Clean and well appointed! We loved the modern amenities. This was a perfect house for our vacation. We have a relative that lives in Caswell Dunes and this was so convenient! The golf cart was great for mini-excursions and the outdoor area was perfect for showers, tv, scooters, lacrosse with the kids. The kitchen had literally everything and tv/wifi/wii was great too. Thank you!

Slowin' Dune was a perfect spot. It's in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Having the golf cart was extremely convenient to travel to the beach each day. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again.

The house exceeded our expectations, beautiful, well stocked kitchen, comfortable master and the addition of the golf cart was fantastic for rides to the beach. Great proximity to a lovely dog friendly beach. (At least in the off- season) My only complaint was the robotic and flawed management service Vacasa. Even with that, I would definitely return!

This property is lovely. It's clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and has all the comforts of home. We loved the ability to use the bikes and golf cart to get back and forth from the beach. Since we had less-than-ideal weather when we traveled, we really enjoyed all the puzzles and games, and the smart TV came in especially handy too. You'd never know this property was pet-friendly. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful and the access to the beach is on point. The house is very spacious and feels very cozy. The only thing we would have liked better was for it to be a little cleaner. The table still had cup rings and crumbs everywhere when we got there. The bathroom had hair still in it from the previous people there and so did the bed. When we first arrived we went to use the golf cart and it died half way through the neighborhood and we spent a lot of time trying to push it back. Once we got back and charged it it then worked just fine. Overall the experience was great just a few things that could have been better. Thank you for letting us stay.

First, let me state we would definitely stay here again. Overall, the location and the house worked well for us. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and is close to the beach access. Is it perfect? No, but close enough. Pros: The layout of this home is perfect. Large open kitchen, dining, and living room. Bedrooms are separated by location and/or shared bathroom. Super roomy showers with plenty of water pressure and hot water (instant water heater). It's decorated for the beach, but done in a tasteful, understated manner. There isn't a lot of “stuff” sitting everywhere. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and all types of dishes. Many small appliances as well (toaster, kitchen aid mixer, Ninja blender, Kureg, regular drip coffee pot, and a bullet blender). Gas stove with vented microwave over it, roomy fridge, and dishwasher. Plenty of game choices including board games, cards, and some yard games. We brought our own beach chairs, but found plenty in the little garage area. The golf cart was perfect way to haul everything to the beach. The bicycles there were too tall for my wife to ride. Cons: The king sized bed in the master bedroom is absolutely the worse bed ever. It is overly soft and lumpy. We wound up moving to the queen bed just to get some sleep. The furniture in the living room is dirty and also not comfortable. The home and the whole area is pet friendly, but the rugs in the home cause me to pause. I am not sure they have ever been cleaned and our dogs would smell spots on them before moving on to another part of the room. As I said, overall the home works and we would stay here again.

Slowin’ Dune was a wonderful place to stay. We had a great vacation. It was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. There was plenty of natural light. Vacasa and the owner were very helpful with any questions we had. We made very good use of the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, and especially appreciated the golf cart. We could ride bikes or the cart to the beach. There were places for them to park. Walking to the beach was easy too. There is a wagon for beach equipment. The Caswell Dunes neighborhood was truly nice. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Restaurants and stores in Oak Island and Southport were easily accessible. We heartily recommend Slowin’ Dune for a very enjoyable vacation.
