The house was very clean. That’s important to me. The owner communicated whenever I needed. We were just steps from the beach. I have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend this place.

Area was very quiet and right at the ocean. We enjoyed the comfortable furniture and mattresses and the well-stocked kitchen. Washer & dryer being under the house instead of in the house was the only downside. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy!

Owners have thoughtful amenities. I would recommend that they provide local tv channels and look at regulating hot water in showers. Also, should put up house address numbers. We had great stay and would do it again.

We loved staying here. Cozy and cute with an amazing view of the ocean. Equipped with everything we needed. We loved being so close to the water, the beds were super comfy and overall very clean. Great communication from Dee. We definitely want to return.

This stay was perfect. Fantastic location. Peaceful serene. Outdoor shower was very useful for showering off the beach. The washer and dryer under the house was nice for trying to keep the sand out but sligtly inconvenient if your just trying to do routine laundry. Memory foam mattresses through out. Bunk bed was large enough even for our teens, very sturdy! Great vacation home!

Excellent location and beautiful ocean views. We checked in quickly without any issues. The host had complimentary snacks and drinks when we arrived. We have paid a lot more for a lot less in the past. This home exceeded our expectations! The house is perfect for enjoying a day playing/fishing on the beach. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

This cottage was a lovely place for four adults to spend a week right on the ocean. We very much enjoyed the ocean views, surf fishing and walks along the ocean. The public access to the beach was very close to the cottage and very convenient for access. The cottage was nicely decorated and very comfortable. There wasn't much closet space, but other than that, it was a lovely place to stay for a week away from home.

This beach front house was fantastic! It was recently remodeled and was so well done. The public access is one house over so very convenient. We loved the deck and watching the sunset. Dee, the property manager, was so nice and helpful. We want to come back!

Home exactly as pictured with a new deck that nearly doubles the living space! Spectacular sunsets, sunrises and wildlife sightings all enjoyed from the deck! Great location and attentive host! Thanks Dee! We plan to enjoy more winter escapes at West End Gulls!

Location was awesome. On the oceanfront is where I want to be. House was very nice- I would have liked to have more closet space. Drain in master shower was not draining properly, notified home owner and it was fixed promptly. May rent again if it is just us and another couple. Over all love the place!

Beautiful house. Wonderful layout for families. Kitchen was fully equipted and well stocked. Bathrooms were the same. Immaculate - which for a pet friendly rental is amazing. Beach access could not have been better. We lived on the deck - What a view! We had a storm one day and with that view it was truly awesome. Dee was a fantastic host. Easy to reach and incredibly responsive. We will be back.

This was the best ! My husband surprised me with our best friends , we ate we hung out, we fished , we laughed ! It was absolutely great I had no complaints because I’m not a complainer. My best part was I was not at home and I was celebrating my birthday with the love of my life and our best friends from childhood ! This place was awesome ! Thank you !!

I struggled with whether or not I wanted to splurge and stay right on the beach. But as soon as I checked in I knew I had made the right decision. The location was simply magical. Sitting out on the large deck and watching the pelicans and dolphins was such a treat. The house is beautifully decorated and boasts a wonderful kitchen. Loved the extra little touches such as the baked "goodies" left out the new arrival (was especially appreciated as I arrived late and was hungry). Leave your coffee at home! There's a wonderful Kuerig with lots of coffee choices. Look forward to a return visit!

This was our best rental experience by far at Oak Island/Sunset Beach, N.C.! The house was newly renovated and very clean! It was right on the beach next to public access. We were able to bring our small dog which was a big plus! Communication from the host, Dee, was outstanding! Check in was seamless and easy and she responded immediately to our questions. All linens and towels were provided which made us very happy since at another rental we ended up having to go buy everything! There were even extra toiletries soap shampoo and toothbrushes which was great since my wife forgot hers! They even provided the K-Cups for the coffee machine! I highly recommend this rental the price was reasonable and we intend to come back sometime!
