"This was a scam. Do NOT book this place. I was left stranded with my 2 year old 4 hours away and no where to stay! I tried contacting the host 2 days prior and never got any response. Even called Vrbo and they were able to get ahold of these either! Again DO NOT book this place! "

"We were very disappointed in the RV that we rented. It was in very tough shape. The floor in spots were weak. Doors were missing off cabinets. There were also mouse droppings in a couple of the kitchen drawers and when brought to their attention they only stated that the cleaning staff usually does a better job cleaning. "

"Burrowdale is a gem -- a collection of stunning hobbit homes that are high end, plush, and thoughtfully detailed -- all nestled into a gorgeous countryside. We delighted in the sound of crickets, the smell of sweet grasses, the Milky Way overhead, and the generous breakfast. My tall husband was delighted by the large shower which was helpfully elf-lord sized. We have raved about this stay to everyone and only regret we didn't have more time to sink into the experience. "Beautiful home with an excellent kitchen and family space by the pool. It was really hot, so jumping in the pool after a long day BBQing at the Palo Cedro Honey Bee Festival…sooo nice!! The home is spacious and beds were very comfortable. Definitely will book again the next time!! Thank you for sharing this amazing property!! We all loved it!!"
