"Cottage was convenient to town just as we needed. We never saw the hosts although we had hoped to as the property was a family home and built by our great grandparents. The cottage is well appointed. It was too rainy while we were there to enjoy the back porch but it was very nice to spread out during our stay. Beds were comfy. We had trouble letting ourselves in upon arrival but it was really just us not following directions. Host responded immediately and he talked us through entering. ...

"Expedia described this as a 3rd floor 1 bedroom apartment. Had I known it was basically a boarding house/hostel, I wouldn’t have booked. Also 1 dingy towel offered for showering. No utensils, no hair dryer (even though it was listed) so what good is a stovetop and pans with zero utensils, including no forks/spoons, spatulas etc."

"This was a super cozy ,cute place to stay . Host had muffins , juice and milk for us. The property was quiet and very peaceful."

"The add states an entire home, this is a home with small bedrooms and a bathroom. I was under the impression by the description the entire home was ours without others on the property. I’d put that in the description I felt under comfortable with the men on the property. False advertising "

"We were in town for a wedding during a massive heat wave, host made sure the house was well cooled before we arrived. Everything was clean, and ready for us. We had a great time. Host even hunted down a lost item for us and got it back to us. Great experience."

"Rented the property to attend a series of events at Clark University. Literally walking distance to the school so it was quite convenient. Apartment was clean, beds were comfortable. Being able to park three cars in the driveway was a huge plus as street parking near the apartment was extremely challenging. Being a Clark alum, was quite familiar with the neighborhood so I knew what to expect. Felt completely safe in the apartment as every door to the hallways had sufficient locks. We did blow a...

"We traveled from Delaware to the area for our daughter's wedding. It was the perfect home for our group, with plenty of room to kick back and relax. The home is located in a quiet community a couple miles from town. The bedrooms were comfortable, there was good water pressure throughout the house. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a drip coffee maker and an espresso machine for your caffeine fix. The host was very responsive to questions we...

"The host was very accommodating and responsive. Great property in a great location, would stay again!"

"The family had a great time at Kathleen's house. It provided loads of space to both hang out in the kitchen/dining area at breakfast and when preparing meals and then in the evenings, relaxing on the super large sofas. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean as were the bathrooms. The fire-pit was a great spot however, with young children and the 'friendly' mosquitos in the summer season, we limited our time looking at the flames. The location met our needs very well and afforded a great...

"Nice and very clean. Host communicated fast and helpful."

"Gorgeously decorated and ultra-clean. Was the perfect rental for my sisters wedding at Salem Cross Inn"

"Hi,Jenny was a wonderful host. She was very accommodating. The property was great! It was everything we needed at that time. Thank you Jenny!Best,ML"

"We did not receive information on how to enter the property until we arrived and called the owner. There was a lot of poison ivy growing in our parking area."

"I had a great stay at this home! My bridesmaids and I stayed for a few nights leading up to my wedding day and we got ready there as well. It was a beautiful space and fit us all comfortably. The bathrooms were amazing and the parking was great as well!"

"quiet, clean space. easy access by driving to neighboring towns and parks."
