We were pleased to be located at the rear of the complex so didn’t hear traffic noise. The suite was situated nicely and clean and the beds were comfortable. Was especially happy to be welcomed by a cat, not sure if it’s part of the complex or neighbour but was a delightful surprise, just want to know its name. Only there for a night so only interaction with staff was check-in and the person was friendly. Kitchen is small but has the basic supplies to be able to prepare a simple meal.

The owners are very friendly, helpful, and caring. Had an issue when booking through Expedia but the owners quickly directly contacted me to solve the issue. The rooms are clean and spacious, and ours had a nice view of the golf course. The curtains in the room were black-out curtains and they had several outlets in the room so convenient for charging devices. We were glad they also had laundry facilties for guests. You can easily walk to an area with many restaurants if you don't want to cook. Each room has one designated parking spot. A great location/price to stay if you want to do a day trip to Queenstown or Wanaka and there aren't (affordable) accommodations available there. It is also a quick 3-min drive to the Cromwell Heritage District if you want to experience a little local history, and there are places with locally produced fruit nearby.

My family stayed here for one night which served the purpose. Overall we thought the property was tired. The garden and playground area was un-kept, cigarette butts on the car park and the entrance to the room didn't look welcoming as a knackered pair of chairs and table sat outside. The linen was clean, but the upholstery was completely worn. One of the chairs should have been thrown away. The bathroom was fine except the toilet cistern which was very old. Would not stay again.

This motel is fine for an overnight stay if passing through. However it could do with a cleanup outside, lawn & gardens were messy. Could do with a ceiling fan or air conditioning as it got stuffy in room during the night. Bathroom is updated and looks Great. Manager not on site when we arrived for allowed check in, was away having lunch. A note on the door would’ve been a good idea.
