"Our suite was perfect for a pāpā and his two sons. Had everything we needed to break up a long drive for a night. This motel isn't right in Kaikōura township so if you want to be downtown, there's a decent walk or a quick drive to navigate. This said, the staff were lovely and the parking ample, so it was perfect for us. The only downside was a neighbours aviary which was close to our unit and meant for an early wake up when the birds starting their day. 3minute walk to the supermarket was perfect for us, and a few minutes further down the road was a great Pizza joint with a good selection of beer on tap for while you're waiting for your food to cook. My 4yo and I were able to walk to the main township area in under 20min in the morning so no complaints at all re: location. "

"Love this property, clean, ocean view and friendly staff, though there were slight problems gave us the wrong key and the Wi-Fi didn't turn on, the friendly staff got everything sorted. Would definitely stay here again if we went to Kaikiura again."
