"My husband & I took two of our grandchildren 20F and 16M on a trip before they became to wrapped up in life, to places that meant something to them. Northern Germany was one. This VRBO was a great location. We were able to access so many cities and other countries so easily. Locally, gas stations, groceries and other amenities are close by. The house is lovely and well taken care of, decorated in a country/ farm style. The owners are delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Pros: Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, da wir Freunde in einem der Nachbarorte besuchen wollten. Das Haus liegt zentral im Ort, der Bäcker ist nur ein Stück die Straße runter. Es ist schön ruhig. Es gibt eine Nachbarwohnung , aber von der hat man auch nichts gehört. "Es war ganz toll dort. Die Vermieterin hat einen sehr freundlich begrüßt und auch verabschiedet. Von ihr gab es auch einige Tipps für die Umgebung, vor allem wo man gut mit einem Hund hingehen kann. Die Räume sind schön hell freundlichen eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt und es gibt eine offene und einen überdachten Bereich. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Und es gibt ganz viele tolle Laufstrecken rundherum. "

"I liked that there was no physical key, and you only needed to input numbers to access the room / main door. We did not have breakfast so I do not know what to expect, but the room was clean, had A/C and was very comfortable. Basic amenities were there. Front staff were all very helpful and friendly, and spoke to us in English as we could not speak German. Easy walk to the station or the bus is quite convenient as well."

"We stayed in a deluxe double which had a view out over the garden and on to the lake. The room was clean and tidy but there are no tra or coffee making facilities in the room. Instead there are some 'refreshment stations' placed in the corridor which work on an honesty system. Whatever you take you keep a note of and then declare it at checkout (I think). We didn't use it but some other guests did, at about 1 in the morning, and made a great deal of noise - not ideal. However, not the fault of the hotel really, but just worth being aware of. There is a big car park opposite the hotel, so parking is easy. Breakfast was good, although we did have to hunt for bowls or plates which were not placed close to where you might need them. The terrace and garden are lovely to walk around and it is only a short walk through the garden to the lake."
