" Disappointing Experience for a Relais & Châteaux Property While the setting and concept hold promise, our stay fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were indifferent and unwelcoming—offering no assistance with luggage, which is surprising for a property of this caliber. Our room was dusty with a clogged shower that should have been addressed before our arrival. Small details like these matter, especially when a hotel presents itself as part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux network. "Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Rüdesheim am Rhein. Check in was very smooth. Receptionist went out of her way to ensure we were safely parked in the hotel parking lot appropriately 100 meters from hotel, through village. Room was clean and renovated. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Provided us with helpful guidance for touring this beautiful area of Germany. Staff spoke English and were very kind. A very lovely experience!"
