Idyllic wooden house on the Steinhuder Meer

"Ein schönes und gemütliches Haus, ganz nah an Steinhuder Meer. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Was man allerdings wissen sollte: insbesondere das Badezimmer ist sehr hellhörig und der Garten scheint noch ein wenig im Aufbau. Uns hat das nicht gestört. Wir würden wiederkommen."

"Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieter war einfach und unkompliziert. Es gab insgesamt 3 Badezimmer, wovon 2 Duschen hatten und ausreichend Badezimmer für 8 Erwachsene plus ein Kind. Der Billardtisch sowie das Wohnzimmer waren ein Highlight. Es gibt umliegend einiges zu entdecken wie die Tropfsteinhöhle oder Hameln. Die Höhle können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen. Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet mit allen wichtigen Dingen und in weniger als 10 Minuten Autofahrt gibt es diverse Einkaufsläden. Die Vermieter haben auch eine tolle Mappe mit allen wichtigen Infos erstellt. Wer Ruhe und Natur schätzt und mobil ist wird die Unterkunft lieben."

"Excellent breakfast, and free bottled still & sparkling water available at all times. The names of the rooms are very misleading. We booked a superior twin room. We questioned whether indeed we had been allocated the correct room, and were told that we had.The room was very small and no tea & coffee making facilities. A very basic room. However. it had a good size bathroom with a nice walk in shower. It also had a small balcony with 1 chair. We enquired about the next category up - "Privilege" room for our next stay in Hameln. This is a bigger room & does include tea & coffee and bathrobes. But alot more expensive. If you don't mind a smallish room and don't think "superior" just normal, this hotel is located conveniently in walking distance of the town (through the park). And to reiterate the breakfast is really good and the free supply of drinking water was very much appreciated. Especially as we stayed during a heatwave >38°. NB There isn't any air-conditioning in the hotel. But very few hotels in Hameln have air-conditioning. The breakfast staff were excellent and friendly and the majority of the receptionists were friendly. But one of the younger female receptions was quite surly. We didn't see or use the sauna or swimming pool."

"Die Wohnung war, wie beschrieben und mit Fotos dokumentiert.Alles da, was man braucht.Wir haben uns mit unseren zwei Hunden sehr wohlgefühlt und immer die schöne Aussicht aufs Wasser genossen. Schöne Sonnenuntergänge, sogar nach einem heftigen Gewitter.Wir kommen gerne wieder"

"Hotel was lovely and clean / breakfast and the restaurant serve very good food highly recommended. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are very professional. The surrounding area is quiet but nice and within easy reach of Hannover Centre. My only comment is the the single business rooms are not so in keeping with the rest of the hotel and need some updating. However rooms are clean and functional. If i were to stay again i would go for a double room to get a bigger bed."
