"Absolutely brilliant hotel! The receptionist was incredibly friendly—one of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met, and his English was flawless. While checkout is a bit early at 10 a.m., he proactively offered a complimentary late checkout, which made all the difference on a long trip. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. This was at 4pm and the temperature was almost 40c. Not ideal for anyone, let alone with a kid... When speaking to the neighbors they confirmed that this happended to other guests before and that the owner is away on holiday. Now I hope they refund the stolen money. Genusshotel Riegersburg

Genusshotel Riegersburg

10/10 Excellent
"I wish that we had stayed longer! Unfortunately we only stayed one night. The view was incredible (looking out on to Riegersburg Castle) and the hotel was absolutely lovely. Hotel and room facilities were excellent, staff were excellent, drinking water fountains in the room were a nice touch. The view was amazing (I feel like I have to repeat this because it was so good). Breakfast was great and we appreciated being able to make our own juice. We had a set dinner in the evening and felt that three out of the five courses were very nice and the other two were very average. But, we still enjoyed the the service we received and the overall experience. Great place to stay if you are in the area. The castle was also very interesting and we were pleased to have visited."
